Let the Children Come to Me
Then children were brought to him that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked the people, but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” And he laid his hands on them and went away.
At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

God's Promise

God's Covenant with Noah
And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. The fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth and upon every bird of the heavens, upon everything that creeps on the ground and all the fish of the sea. Into your hand they are delivered. Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. And as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything. But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood. And for your lifeblood I will require a reckoning: from every beast I will require it and from man. From his fellow man I will require a reckoning for the life of man.  “Whoever sheds the blood of man,
by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in his own image.  And you, be fruitful and multiply, teem on the earth and multiply in it.”  Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him, “Behold, I establish my covenant with you and your offspring after you, and with every living creature that is with you, the birds, the livestock, and every beast of the earth with you, as many as came out of the ark; it is for every beast of the earth. I establish my covenant with you, that never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood, and never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.” And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant that I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all future generations: I have set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. When I bring clouds over the earth and the bow is seen in the clouds, I will remember my covenant that is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh. And the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh. When the bow is in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.” God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant that I have established between me and all flesh that is on the earth.”                                      Genesis 9:1-17

The Wildfire Youth Group meets every Sunday morning at 10:00 AM & every other Sunday night at 5:30 PM.  Please check the calendar for the correct nights.

Our Wildfire Youth Group will be going to Aquire The Fire in Greensboro, NC, March 19-20, 2010.  ATF is a two day, parent-teen or family getaway that sets the platform for you to connect with your teen in a way that is fun, safe and very cool.  An ATF event will help shape your teen's worldview and touch their hearts and minds for Jesus; building memories with you they'll never forget!

Some of the bands performing this year include Thousand Foot Crutch, Building 429, Everyday Sunday, and the host band Unhindered.  Click here for a brochure of the event.

Please come join us for Youth Night, starting with a meal at 5:30 PM and ending at 7:00 PM.  We will have Youth Night every other Sunday, so plan to invite your friends and let us know your ideas for events.

We now offer Children's Church for ages 5th grade and down.  After the children's sermon upstairs you are invited to go downstairs to hear how God's Word applies to your young life.  We will alternate Children's Church every other week with upstairs church to give families a chance to also worship together.

Vacation Bible School 2009 "Crocodile Dock" was a huge success!  There was a burning bush…an assault of plagues…Jesus’ resurrection. The Bible tells us God performed big stuff—miracles—to make himself known. But he’s acting in our everyday lives and all around us, too. We learned to see the world differently, with God Sightings!  Click here to view a slideshow of VBS 2009 memories.
